New work May 2012
After a long, self-imposed hiatus, I’ve finally picked up a pen again with this little guy. It’s an image that’s been stuck in my head for months now and I’m calling “Donut Discourse” (full explanation later, maybe).

I’ve been experimenting some with my preferred medium:
I studied painting in college, and as you can see, it’s not so easy to completely remove myself from that discipline.
I’m liking the kind of “muscle” effect I can create with think pen strokes and a bit of smudging. More to come!

I’m pleased to announce that Altered Esthetics Gallery in Minneapolis, MN accepted three of my pieces to be included in their upcoming show “Fear Itself.” The opening reception is October 7, 7 – 10 p.m. Altered Esthetics is located at 1224 Quincy St. NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413.
